The white on her right bicep seems to be gauze, or maybe a textured first-aid tape while the purple on her left wrist seems to be more of a decorative tape.

What can we glean from these images of Bo, that we haven’t been able to decipher from the others? Well, for one, the wraps on her limbs are now much easier to see. There’s not quite as much of Bo visible, and Ducky and Bunny are missing from the other bottle’s character lineup, but it still gives a good idea of the graphics on the other. While the pink-trimmed Thermos is no longer showing up on Amazon (at least for now), another one featuring Bo, Woody, Buzz, and Forky is, and can be found here. Here is the image as it was sent to me despite the resolution, you can still make everyone out: On it, although they are small, you can also see Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Forky, Ducky, and Bunny – in the running-towards-the-camera style that was so prevalent in Toy Story 3 merchandise as well. The photo, which was sent to me on Instagram by user shows Bo in an active pose, much like the illustration from the recently-leaked Russian calendar. She's still more breakable than the other toys, but those fears play no part in her character in Toy Story 4, even during the prologue set during the days when the toys were all still owned by Andy.ĭirected by Josh Cooley, Toy Story 4 stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Keanu Reeves, Annie Potts, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Jeff Pidgeon, Blake Clark, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele and Tony Hale. While we have yet to see an official Pixar-released image of Bo Peep’s new look in Toy Story 4, a water b ottle that has been listed for sale on Amazon gives us the best rendered look at her appearance so far. There's no reference to how or why she changed her look, and the film never takes the time to explain why she didn't undergo such a transformation in previous entries. RELATED: Toy Story 4's Ending & Post-Credits Scene, Explained That proves her body is still clearly made of the same porcelain it was always implied to be. The arm can still be pulled off, but it can always be reattached with the right instrument. Because it was porcelain, it couldn't be easily repaired (like Woody was able to have his own arm reattached in Toy Story 2). At some point, the arm was apparently broken.

The biggest change is to her right arm, however. The addition of a bow is now the one example of pink in her new design, whereas it had previously been her defining color. Those blue bloomers are her main fashion choice in Toy Story 4. Toy Story 4 retcons the dress, changing it to be made of cloth during the initial flashback. Originally, it was tucked away beneath her dress, which appeared to be pure porcelain and part of her body. The only thing that remains from her original design is the blue shirt. RELATED: Why Toy Story 4 Doesn't Have An Animated Short Unlike other toys (save someone specifically accessory-based, like Barbie), Bo seems capable of simply changing her appearance as she sees fit. Apparently, she always had the choice to don more adventurous gear. That's likely the reason she wasn't part of the rescue mission to find Woody. She was pretty and well-crafted, but lacked much of the range of motion the other toys enjoyed.

When we last saw Bo, she was designed to look like a vintage porcelain doll. The film doesn't go into detail about what Bo went through on her own.
